HALEY KRISTINE HUANG KNOLL MEMORIAL FUND
Haley Knoll, born on May 24, 1994, became an angel on November 13, 2007, from complications developed while being treated for a 2nd relapse of Leukemia.
Haley's life may be short by human years, but it was as bright as her namesake. She did not let her illness define her, and continued to live her life to the fullest. She was smart (clever), funny (hilarious), adventurous (roller coaster daredevil), sweet, kind (compassionate), athletic (soccer, volleyball, basketball), artistic, courageous (though wished she never had to be), and most of all, loving. She had hoped to attend UCSB (like her big big sis), become an artist (like her big sis), maybe an engineer too (like her beloved Papa, 5 uncles & Opa, with math being her favorite/best subject in school), and have a booth at the Laguna Saw Dust Festival. And undoubtly Haley would have achieved all of these goals.
More of Haley's life can be found at:

This memorial fund is established to honor Haley's incredible spirit, her zest for life, her love for her family & friends. We miss her laughter, giggles, silliness, and even her legendary burps. We miss our beautiful shining star.
Annual scholarships will be awarded to youth cancer patients pursuing a college education. Contributions will also be made to the many organizations that had enriched Haley's life, as well as many other young lives affected particularly by cancer:
- PICU Nurses, Rady Childlren's Hospital San Diego – for their tremendous dedication & compassion
- Hematology/Oncology Unit, Rady Children's Hopsital San Diego
- Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation
- Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
- American Cancer Society
- Make-A-Wish Foundation
We thank Oma & Opa for starting this college fund for Haley years ago, as well as Uncle Blaine & Aunt Sandy for the set up of this fund. We also thank the many friends & families for your past & future supports & contributions, and for continuing to celebrate Haley's life with us.
